A Custodian's Three Decades of Dedication Creates Family at Nuestro Mundo

At Nuestro Mundo Elementary, there is one man who sets himself apart. Jorge Araujo, the school's custodian, has worked for the Madison Metropolitan School District for nearly three decades, and most of that time has been spent at Nuestro Mundo. His dedication to his job and his love for the students are evident in everything he does.

"He is the glue that keeps the whole operation together," said Joshua Forehand, Nuestro Mundo's Principal.

For Araujo, Nuestro Mundo Elementary is more than just a workplace; it's a family where staff, students, and families work together to build each other up.
